I founded Cancer Can Take a Hike to connect those affected by cancer (survivors, caregivers, loved ones) with each other and with the outdoors. This community, inspired by my dad who passed away from pancreatic cancer, encourages the outdoors as a space for wellness and healing. To learn more, check out the Facebook group.

I’m working on a children’s book based on my dog Buddy. Young children will be educated on anxiety, compassion, empathy, and fear through the story of a dog leaving the farm for his new home in the big city.
